Toploaders are the sports card hobby's most popular
holders for storage and display of trading cards, photographs,
posters, currency, comic books, magazines.
The
Toploads that we offer are manufactured BCW, they are made
from rigid Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) which contains no plasticizers or stearates (a salt or an ester of stearic acid). They will not migrate or
harm your cards, photographs, or prints. Toploads come in a variety of sizes
and they are an inexpensive way to store and display trading cards,
photographs, posters, currency, comic books, magazines and lithographs,
while offering maximum protection and visual appeal.
Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC)
Polyvinyl chloride is a flexible or rigid material that is relatively inert
and chemically non-reactive. It is resistant to water and corrosion, and
possesses a high strength-to-weight ratio. It is tough and dent-resistant,
and it maintains its properties over long periods of time. Polyvinyl
chloride, commonly known as PVC or vinyl, is one of the most widely used
synthetic materials today due to its durability and versatility. Common uses
include piping, vinyl siding, vinyl flooring, electrical insulation,
windows, toys, medical equipment, cloth and paper coating, packaging, and
countless other plastic products.
Various groups on the basis of environmental performance -
all of, which ignore the immense service that the material plays in the
modern industrial society, have attacked PVC. Rigid PVC is physiologically
safe and has no health and safety implications, and plasticized PVC is used
extensively in food packaging. PVC contains no products that are likely to
give rise to health and safety concerns. PVC is claimed to be dangerous by
some but it is the main material used for blood bags and medical tubing and
has been responsible for saving countless lives.
